Conference Agenda

The workshop will consist of a quick guided practice tour through the opening stages of a research data project using MAXQDA. Main features and tasks will be practiced in detail, including importing or generating new data (automatic transcription included), creating and applying codes (i.e. manual, automatic and AI assisted coding) performing searches and queries, writing memos, retrieving selected coded data segments, analyzing data, and reporting results using some of the special features available (e.g. summaries, QTT, reports, visual tools). The main goal of this workshop is to provide an overview of the data analysis process relying on MAXQDA assistance, a state-of-the-art software package for qualitative and mixed-methods research. Upon completing the session, workshop participants will identify important options available for tackling their own research projects, namely in terms computational support and upfront AI integration.
