Session Abstract | ||
The objective of this workshop is to engage in discourse and initiate a Global Remote Lab Initiative. The overarching vision of the new initiative is, in a broader sense, to provide support for the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG) of the United Nations (UN). The objective is to provide inclusive, equitable, and quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all people worldwide. In a narrow sense, the initiative aims to promote the development and use of remote laboratories for educational and training purposes as an essential tool for providing high-quality, practice-oriented education to any location in the world for all sections of the population without restrictions, at low cost or free of charge. 1. Introduction (Michael E. Auer) 2. Technology education for everyone, anywhere and anytime (Reinhard Langmann) 3. Equal access to quality education for all through remote laboratories (Maria Laronde Petri, Jose Texier, and Reymi Then) 4. Discussion | ||
