The AK Med & Health invites all UUX professionals working in the healthcare sector to analyse innovation drivers and obstacles in more detail from their own experience in the style of an event storming workshop. To this end, we will look at the entire product life cycle - from the initial idea for a product or feature to the start of marketing and the disposal or end of the product life cycle. In particular, we want to look at the following questions: - What favours or inhibits innovation in the healthcare sector? - Which decisions have a significant influence on user-centricity? - How do we as UUX professionals want to be involved and when? - At what point in time do which decisions need to be made and by whom? - What distinguishes individual manufacturer types such as software as a medical device, classic medical devices with hardware, DiGA, DiPA, hospital information systems, practice information systems, telematics infrastructure, etc.? - What can we as UUX professionals do to bring innovation into everyday life? The aim is to identify potential for innovation and user-centred development and to leverage this in our day-to-day work. To this end, we want to create a common understanding of where UUX professionals can introduce innovations into the sometimes long development cycles. In doing so, we want to keep a close eye on complexity, such as regulatory requirements, reimbursement issues and much more. As AK Med & Health, we plan to publish the results of this workshop afterwards and maintain them digitally.
