Improving UX Evaluation with AI-based Emotion Recognition

AI offers the opportunity to improve the UX evaluation of user interfaces and potentially integrate them into field studies. To make this possible, it is first necessary to collect unbiased and realistic data to train an AI. Although there is a lot to consider, there is hardly any exchange among researchers in this regard. Therefore, this contribution is intended to promote the exchange of approaches and challenges in data collection. We will start the workshop with a keynote speech on AI-based UX evaluation and corresponding approaches. We will present a dataset we have created for AI-based UX evaluation. This will be followed by a discussion on challenges and guidelines for data set creation.
The target group is anyone interested in the integration of AI in UX evaluation and emotion research. A certain affinity for AI and experience creating data sets are welcome.
