Session Abstract

In this presentation, Amal Madibbo will present her most recent research on immigration in French-speaking minority communities across Canada. She will draw on her recent book Blackness in the Francophonie (PUL, 2021) to address the links between racism, nationalism, language and colonization. Her most recent research focus on decolonization and official language communities.
