Knowledge transfer and capacity building are main challenges as well as important preconditions needed to improve good land practices in industrial and developing countries. The rising numbers of people using smart phones and an improving internet accessibility therefore are creating new opportunities. These opportunities have been recognized by several organizations, which brought new E-Learning tools for land matters into focus.

In this Masterclass we present newly developed land related E-Learning tools of Technical University Munich (TUM), Global Land Tool Network (GLTN) and German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). The Masterclass will draw attention to opportunities and challenges of E-Learning for capacity building to improve land governance, especially in developing countries. We are going to generate a common platform for expert exchange to discuss future development possibilities and cooperation opportunities.
