Field Trip to Arlington County- Department of Real Estate Assessment
Location: Arlington County

Staff of Arlington County will present its experience and approach with urban planning (city rehabilitation, financing infrastructure); evolution of  land records management; real estate valuation/assessment and property tax collection; Use of GIS/mapping; and future of open data use. The morning will be spent at the county offices, followed by lunch with county staff for informal discussion. In the afternoon a tour to Thomas Jefferson Memorialwil be offered (early return to DC by metro is possible).   REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY please contact: Dulce Naime: dnaime@worldbank.org
