Conference Agenda

The International Union of Notaries, beyond the development of notarial standards, is committed to raise the awareness of its members regarding land governance, and, as part of its partnership with FAO, to promote the principles of the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Tenure of Land.

The roundtable will present four fields of notarial expertise involved in the achievement of Millennium Development Goals 3 (Gender Equality) and 7 (Environmental Sustainability) : joint land right, inheritance, definition of vertical land rights and contract drafting for the management of commons.
