Mihnea manages projects in both private and public sector in Romania and has also worked on international projects in The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro. The industry verticals he worked for include: public sector, retail, education and automotive. He managed projects of more then 50 people and subcontractors from different countries and cultures of the world like Romania, India, UK and US. Anne Larson is a Principal Scientist at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), based in Lima, Peru. She obtained her PhD in 2001 from U.C. Berkeley in Wildland Resource Science, with an emphasis on resource policy and institutions. Her current research priorities include opportunities for and challenges to forest tenure reforms; women’s rights to land in communal forests; and multilevel governance, REDD+ and low emissions development. She coordinates fieldwork in Peru, Nicaragua, Mexico, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Anne represents CIFOR to the Rights and Resources Initiative (RRI) and served as a council member of the International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC) until 2016. She has done both more traditional and action research, as well as supporting innovative initiatives such as the design of a diploma course for indigenous communities and leaders. Prior to obtaining her PhD, she worked as a journalist, activist and lobbyist. |

Robin McLaren is currently director of Know Edge Ltd a UK based, independent management consulting company formed in 1986 specialising in the application of geospatial information and is a prominent consultant in land administration. He works extensively with United Nations agencies, World Bank and EU on land policy / land administration / NSDI programmes in Africa, Far East, Asia and Europe and he is on a mission to ensure that Land Professionals are delivering appropriate land administration services to the citizen. He was the lead consultant in formulating the UK Location Strategy. Robin has an honorary doctorate from the University of Glasgow for contributions to geomatics and land administration and is an Honorary Fellow at the School of GeoSciences, University of Edinburgh. He has co-authored the recent GLTN publication on ‘Fit For Purpose Land Administration: Guiding Principles for Country Implementation’. |

Professor Siraj Sait is Director of the Centre of Islamic Finance, Law and Communities (CIFLAC), an interdisciplinary research led centre at the Royal Docks School of Business and Law at the University of East London, UK. A graduate of the Universities of Madras, Harvard and London, Sait has widely published in the areas of land and property rights, gender, youth, conflict studies and financial inclusion particularly in the MENA and Asia region. His research impact case study on land rights in the MENA region was highly ranked at the UK Research Excellence Framework Exercise 2014. He has worked with the Government of Tamil Nadu, India and at UN-Habitat helped set up the Global Land Tool Network, and has worked exensively with international agencies, governments and civil society. He headed the evaluation of UN programmes in Iraq, chaired the law drafting committee in Mogadishu Somalia, carried out training of Indonesian officials for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and training of officials on municipal finance in Saudi Arabia, and serves as member of the Advisory Group on Gender Issues advises the UN-Habitat Executive Director. |

Chris Jochnick is a global land rights expert and social entrepreneur with decades of experience in international development. Chris joined Landesa as CEO in August 2015 after leading Oxfam America’s work on business and development including shareholder engagement, value chain assessments, and collaborative advocacy initiatives, such as the successful “Behind the Brands” campaign. Chris spent seven years working in Latin America, devoting much of that time to addressing threats to indigenous peoples’ land rights. Jochnick is a graduate of Harvard Law School and a former fellow of the MacArthur Foundation and Echoing Green. He teaches a course on business and human rights at Harvard Law School. Chris lives in Washington, DC with his wife and four children. |

His most recent book is The Code Economy: A Forty-Thousand-Year History, forthcoming from Oxford University Press in February 2017. In June 2013 he led the launch of the National Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, an organization dedicated to using the National Mall in Washington DC as a platform to celebrate and support entrepreneurship and innovation. He has blogged and written op-eds for Harvard Business Review, Forbes, The International Herald Tribune, and The San Francisco Chronicle; has been quoted in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and Slate; and has interviewed on CBS News Sunday, NPR, and Fox, among other outlets. |

Dr Ward Anseeuw, a development economist and policy analyst, is a research fellow at the Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD). He is presently being seconded to the International Land Coalition as a Senior Technical Specialist “Knowledge, Learning, Innovation and data”. For the last 12 years, he was seconded to the University of Pretoria, as a senior research fellow to the Post-Graduate School of Agriculture and Rural Development and as the co-director of the Center for the Study of Governance Innovations (GovInn) – which he founded in 2012. His work focuses mainly on issues of agricultural and land policies, agrarian and land reforms, large-scale land acquisitions as well as to participatory approaches of data generation, governance and advocacy regarding land. He has published extensively on these issues in scientific journals and with renowned publishers. |

Dr. Francesca Marzatico is a land governance and tenure expert. Currently she is working as Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) technical advisor to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Conservation in Myanmar. She been working on land governance in conflict and post conflict countries with different organizations and institutions at national and global level. Dr. Marzatico supported the development of several legislation, policy documents and guidelines on land and natural resources. She has an extensive international experience in human rights and land related issues in post conflict situations and developing countries. Ms. Marzatico holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Law and an M.A. in Constitutional Law. She has researched, taught, consulted and written on land and conflict, large scale infrastructure development, large scale land investments and human rights. She participates in international global conferences on land related issues. |

Danilo Antonio is a Programme Officer at Land and GLTN Unit under the Urban Legislation, Land and Governance Branch of UN-Habitat. As a public servant for 15 years, he has been a key driver of change and reform of the Philippines’ land tenure, administration and management system particularly through his previous senior positions to the World Bank-AusAID assisted Land Administration and Management Program (LAMP). He has been a trainer and a lecturer at the Geodetic Engineering Department of FEATI University, Philippines. Also, he has been actively contributing to land sector reforms in the areas of professional development, training and capacity building, institutional development and change management. |

Kuo-Yu slayer Chuang has worked on Location-Based Service (LBS), crowdsourcing, and disaster response with ICT for years. His is now the co-founder of a social enterprise, GeoThings, which provides the integrated ICT platform for Communities, NGOs, and Government Agencies on disaster management for resilience. He is also working with various international organization such as OGC, GEO, ITU, and actively joined the open communities like Open Street Map (OSM), HOT, and Crisis Mappers. With those international collaborations, Kuo-Yu really look forward to a greater impact with this technology, called "Humanitarian ICT", developed by GeoThings. |

Dr. Natalie Bugalski is co-founder and Legal Director of Inclusive Development International, a human rights organization working to make the international economic system more justice and inclusive. Natalie is a human rights lawyer with expertise on housing rights, land tenure and resettlement policy. She has served as Legal Officer at the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions in Asia and worked as an expert consultant for the Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, the former U.N. Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing and Amnesty International, among other organizations. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Laws with first class honors and a PhD in law, both from Monash University, Australia. |
