Notice: This is acknowledgment for those who will register using the Tibetan version of the Conftool website for submitting abstracts for the 16th International Seminar of International Association for Tibetan Studies. The original English version of it had more than 150 pages of standard A4 size and these were to be translated into Tibetan. There are modern technical terms excessively used in the text and it proved to be very difficult to render them in Tibetan. The generally accepted, fixed and standardized rendering of these terms does not exist in Tibetan. Because of that, and for minimizing the possible misunderstandings, we offered here for convenience a bilingual vocabulary of selected key terms used on the website. Furthermore, the flow of the text when translated and the order which appeared then on the website are different. Also due to that a confusion or mistakes might likely appear in the Tibetan translation. Encountering them, please, use also the English version for reference. In case you would have some suggestions or recommendations while using this Tibetan version and encountering difficulties with understanding, mistakes in translation, unsuitable translations of the terms, etc., please, contact Dr. Geshe Choekhortshang Rinpoche via the following e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
