Agape or Other-Orientation for Catalyzing System Transformation 1Maastricht University, The Netherlands; 2Boston College Carroll School of Management The objective of the workshop is to present, discuss, and implement the catalysing transformation framework for us as business in society scholars and connect it to the concept of agape as a key life-affirming value. We will begin by introducing the idea of agape, followed by an exercise in which all attendees participate in envisioning an agape-informed future for management education, business in society (and related) scholarship, or management practice (dividing attendees into groups according to their interests). That will be followed by a brief introduction of the idea of catalysing transformation through processes of connecting, cohering, and amplifying, followed by brief exercises using each of these processes. | ||
