This symposium will include three presentations by scholars who are using an intersectional lens or framework in their research. We will each share our respective projects and discuss how our work is shaped by intersectional awareness and why that is important to the goals of our research. We will open for discussion with attendees about how to integrate intersectionality into their research and teaching, and how to collectively address challenges in this work. We approach intersectionality as critical inquiry and critical praxis.
