In his presentation, Stéphan Vincent-Lancrin will first highlight how a focus on creativity and critical thinking prepares for interdisciplinary education and benefits from interdisciplinary research. Based on an OECD project, he will highlight how critical thinking and creativity could be fostered in teaching and learning while teaching traditional academic subjects. He will show how this can be done without technology, but also how technology could challenge or support this objective. He will then reflect on what the benefits for future education this could bring and what it would take to make it happen.
