A. Industry symposium 1: Care of Sweden: Clinical Evaluation of an Artificial Intelligence Enabled Autonomous Pressure Management Surface Across Care Settings Location: Concert Hall Speakers: Prof Joan-Enric Torra, Victor Guerrini, Fares Al‑Khaliliy
Pressure injury prevention has always depended on people doing the right thing at the right time.
Checking. Adjusting. Reassessing. But healthcare systems are under pressure. Patients are more complex. Staff is stretched. And many prevention routines still rely on manual actions that are easy to miss, delay, or perform inconsistently.
So, the question becomes:
How can support surfaces be autonomous, not to replace care, but to make prevention more reliable, sustainable, and person-centred? |
