Routledge Author Panel: Exploring Qualitative Inquiry in a Book Project

This session will launch a number of recent books published by Routledge with a focus on qualitative and postqualitative inquiry, many of which tie in with the conference themes of global flows, relational connections, and collaborative practices in challenging times. Participating authors will be discussing their work on the following books: Karin Murris on Interpretation in Qualitative Research: Key Concepts in Qualitative Methods (2026) and The Handbook of Reconfiguring Interpretation in (Post) Qualitative Research (2026) co-edited by Mirka Koro & Karin Murris Nikki Fairchild on Place-space Methodologies (2026) by Nikki Fairchild, from the series Postqualitative, New Materialist and Critical Posthumanist Research, introduced by lead Series Editor Karin Murris Andrew Mark Gillott on Writing Sensation: Sense, Events, and Encounters with Creative-Relational Inquiry (2026) by Andrew Mark Gillott Carol A. Taylor on Creative Research on Gender and Sexuality with Children and Young People: Making Methods Matter (2026) edited by EJ Renold, Tuija Huuki, Suvi Pihkala, and Carol A. Taylor Authors will deliver a short presentation in which they will discuss their writing, and their experiences working on a book. Following the presentations there will be a Q&A session, where attendees can ask questions of any of the authors. A representative from Routledge will also be in attendance, to answer publishing related questions. | ||
